Bound on earthOn July 13, 1917, during the miraculous apparition of Our Lady of Fatima to the three children, She promised to come back and ask for the consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart by the Pope and all the bishops. The consecration of Russia is necessary to avoid God’s punishment of the world for the world’s sins, so that the wars on Earth would end and Heaven would grant peace to the world. This consecration still has not happened. The Vatican «bound» this “on earth», so Christ, as promised, keeps it «bound in heaven» (Mat.16:19). In the end, the Pope will consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Heaven will grant «a period of peace» to the world. While the Catholic Church persists in their struggle against God, His anger might leave «one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.» (Mat.24:2) Nevertheless, «he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.» (Mat.24:13). In the end there will be the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary. Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima (May — October, 1917)Between May 13 and October 13 1917, Our Lady appeared in Fatima, Portugal to three little shepherds: Lucia Santos (10 yr old), Francisco Marto (9 yr) and Jacinta Marto (8 yr). The apparitions happened once a month. The children saw Our Lady and spoke with Her. Out of the three, two of them, Francisco and Jacinta, soon died. Lucia Sansos remained on earth, so that through her people would “know and love” the Virgin Mary. Lucia died on February 13, 2005. She was 97 years old. The punishment of the world for its crimesThe Virgin Mary said that many people sin, and as a result, many souls end up in hell. Mary, as the Mother of humanity, suffers greatly from these sins. During the apparition of July 13, 1917 Our Lady told the children: “…He [God] is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation (port. a Comunhão reparadora) on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.” Therefore wars, persecution of the Church, martyrdom and passions of the Pope will continue until the day of the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary. The consecration will happen. The result will be the conversion of Russia and the granting of a period of peace to the world. She asked the children to keep this revelation of July 13 1917 a secret. This is what has become known as the Secret of Fatima. The request of consecration of RussiaOn June 17, 1921 Lucia started to live at the Congregation of Sisters of St. Dorothea. June 13, 1929 the Holy Trinity appeared to Lucia, together with the Mother of God. Our Lady told Lucia: “The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father, in union with all the Bishops of the world, to make the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. There are so many souls whom the Justice of God condemns for sins committed against me, that I have come to ask reparation: sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray.” In a letter to her confessor, Father Jose Bernardo Gonçalves, of June 12, 1930, (and in other letters), Sister Lucia explains the will of the Lord:
… Regarding Russia, if I am not mistaken, Our Good Lord promises to put an end to the persecution in Russia,
Heaven’s request is not fulfilledThe request for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady was addressed to the Pope and all the Catholic bishops, and it came directly from their God, Lord and Heavenly King. Nevertheless the Pope, together with the bishops, did not fulfill this request. In August of 1931, Our Lord Jesus Christ spoke to Lucia and expressed His displeasure of this fact: “Make it known to My ministers that, given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My request, they will follow him into misfortune. It will never be too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary.” In another document composed by Lucia’s confessor, Father Gonçalves, based on Lucia’s notes, we learn what Our Lord said in another internal conversation with Lucia: “They did not wish to heed my request!… Like the King of France, they will repent and do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars, and persecutions of the Church: the Holy Father will have much to suffer.”
Beginning in 1940, the Popes have several times consecrated the world, the peoples of Russia, etc. However, either these consecrations were performed by the Pope without the bishops, or Russia was not mentioned. In the article «Meaning of the 'Consecration' of Russia»
At this time the Vatican claims that the
Russia already entrusted to the Mother of GodIn a letter to her confessor, Father Jose Bernardo Gonçalves, of May 18, 1936, Sister Lucia talks of her internal conversation with Our Lord, in which she asked Christ about the meaning of His request of the consecration of Russia to the Virgin Mary’s Immaculate Heart by the Pope and all the bishops. The result of this consecration must be the conversion of Russia. Without this consecration, God will continue to punish the world for its sins with wars, famine and persecutions of the Church. Lucia asked the Lord: “…why would not He convert Russia without the consecration by the Holy Father?”. His answer was: “Because I want My whole Church to acknowledge that consecration as a triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, so that it may extend its cult later on, and put the devotion to this Immaculate Heart beside the devotion to My Sacred Heart.” Afterwards Lucia expresses doubt that the Holy Father would believe her. The Lord answers: “The Holy Father! Pray very much for the Holy Father. He will do it, but it will be late! Nevertheless the Immaculate Heart of Mary will save Russia. It has been entrusted to Her.” According to the above, God has already entrusted Russia to His Mother in Heaven, and thus has determined the way for the resurrection of Russia: Virgin Mary will save Russia. But this is not all. Virgin Mary is already an invincible Queen Victorious, Russia was already determined by God to become Her people (“[Russia] …has been entrusted to Her”). Mary’s Immaculate Heart will triumph in Russia, a devotion to Her Immaculate Heart will develop in Russia, and thus this devotion will spread beyond its borders. Bound on earth — bound in heavenWhat then is preventing Russia from converting and completely devoting itself to the Virgin Mary? The Vatican does not wish to give Russia to the Virgin Mary. The Lord once promised Peter:
18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church;
and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Mat.16:18-19
And now, the Vatican, with a fierce determination does not wish to obey their Lord, their King and their God. In essence this is a struggle against God. The Vatican stubbornly does not wish to meet Christ’s request: for all the bishops and the Pope in one, particular day to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Virgin Mary. «Peter» bound it on earth, and Christ, as promised, must bind it in Heaven. The word of God is immutable. Christ fulfills His word. What, then, if anything, will Our Lord do? God will continue to punish the world until the Pope will consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin. And finally this will happen: the Immaculate Heart will triumph, the Pope will consecrate Russia to it, Russia will convert and the period of peace will come. The Church is the centre of the universe«The Church is the centre of the universe, the sphere in which its destinies are determined» (Vladimir Lossky, The mystical theology of the Eastern Church, Ch.IX: Two Aspects of the Church). In the beginning of World War II, October 22, 1940, the Lord told Lucia that if the Pope will announce the Act of Consecration, the days of tribulation (war) will be shortened. “Pray for the Holy Father, sacrifice yourself so that his courage does not succumb under the bitterness that oppresses him. The tribulation will continue and augment. I will punish the nations for their crimes by war, famine and persecution of My Church and this will weigh especially upon My Vicar on earth. His Holiness will obtain an abbreviation of these days of tribulation if he takes heed of My wishes by promulgating the Act of Consecration of the whole world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with a special mention of Russia.” Christ indeed kept His promise: …on October 31, 1942, and again on December 8, 1942, Pope Pius XII consecrated the world, with an oblique mention of Russia, and Our Lord thus kept His promise to shorten World War II. Indirect testimony of this comes from Winston Churchill. In his six-volume work on WWII, Churchill wrote that in early 1943 (almost immediately after the consecration performed by Pius XII), «the hinges of fate» turned in favor of the Allies, and that thereafter the Allies won almost every battle, whereas before they had almost always lost. The Pontiff Benedict XVI also connects the dangers which threaten the lives of Christians, with the dangers to the lives of the whole world. On November 11, 1984, Cardinal Ratzinger (the future Pope Benedict XVI) told the magazine «Jesus» that the Third Secret of Fatima tells of the «the dangers threatening the faith and the life of the Christian, and therefore of the world» (Published Testimony: Cardinal Ratzinger, November 1984). Now, even as before, the world continues to insult God with its sins and so it continues to be in danger: “…He [God] is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart…” (Apparition of Our Lady in Fatima, July 13, 1917) The Vatican is not completing the consecration of Russia demanded of it by God. The world continues to be in serious danger of experiencing God’s punishment. In the end — triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Virgin MaryIn Her apparition on July 13, 1917 Our Lady promised the end of God’s punishment of the world (via wars, famine and persecution of the Church), if the Pope, together with the bishops, will consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart. On June 13, 1929 the Virgin Mary announced God’s request to the Pope, to consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart. The Vatican still has not met this wish. The requested consecration has not been performed, and so God has not given the promised «period of peace». The Vatican stubbornly «bound it on earth» and so Christ keeps it «bound in heaven» (Mat.16:18-19). God will continue to punish the world by means of war, famine and persecution of the Church until the Pope consecrates Russia to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary. Until then, all people will continue to suffer. In the end, as promised, Russia will be consecrated and converted. But, by this time there might be not «one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down» (Mat.24:2) within this Church, which continues to defy its God. In the end, the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin will triumph. «He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved» (Mat 24:13).
