Vengeance (ἐκδικέω) for all disobedience
Vengeance (ἐκδικέω) for all disobedience, when our obedience is fulfilled (οταν πληρωθη υμων η υπακοη).
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 1Ti 1, 18.
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Jer 1, 10. 2Co 6, 7. Eph 6, 13.
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 1Co 1, 19. 1Co 3, 19.
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience (εκδικησαι πασαν παρακοην), when your obedience is fulfilled (οταν πληρωθη υμων η υπακοη).
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but
give place unto wrath”
Let the Lord recompense, He promised: “Vengeance is Mine, and recompense”
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine (εμοι εκδικησις); I will repay (εγω ανταποδωσω), saith the Lord. Deu 32, 35. Mat 5, 39. Luk 6, 28. 1Co 6, 7.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Pro 25, 21-22.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
How to beat an opponent in the competition
The Lord Creator will say: “I will avenge her (εκδικησω αυτην).”
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Rom 12, 12. Eph 6, 18. 1Th 5, 17.
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me (εκδικησον με) of mine adversary (απο του αντιδικου μου).
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her (εκδικησω αυτην), lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? Psa 9, 18. Luk 11, 9. Rev 6, 10.
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
first shall be last;
and the last first”
“So run, that ye may obtain
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first. Mat 19, 30. Luk 13, 30.
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. Phl 3, 12. 2Ti 4, 7.
A little more and everything will be completed
In heaven, under the altar, where the blood (the blood is the life;
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, …
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar (υποκατω του θυσιαστηριου) the souls of them that were slain for the word of God (τας ψυχας των εσφαγμενων δια τον λογον του θεου), and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth (ου κρινεις και εκδικεις το αιμα ημων απο των κατοικουντων επι της γης)? Luk 18, 7. Rev 19, 2.
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season (ετι χρονον μικρον), until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled (εως ου πληρωσονται).
Our Lord will revenge for the blood of His slaves who had been slain for the word of God.
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: Deu 32, 43. Rev 7, 10. Rev 12, 10.
2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood (εξεδικησεν το αιμα) of his servants at her hand.
3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. Isa 34, 10. Rev 14, 11.
