Bible. Great Tribulation

The great dragon was cast out into the earth

Archangel Michael casts down the great dragon into the earth. Heavens, and those that dwell in them rejoice. (Rev 12:12).

For the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea a difficult time comes which was not from the beginning of the world, for the devil is come down unto them, having great wrath. ( Mat 24:21), However, a little time is left for him... (Rev 12:12).

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble (עֵת צָרָה `eth tsarah), such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. Dan 10, 13. Rev 12, 7. Mat 24, 21.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Mat 25, 46. Jhn 5, 29.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Wsd 3, 7. Mat 13, 43.

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, Dan 10, 13. Dan 12, 1.
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Luk 10, 18.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Zec 3, 1.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rom 8, 37.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Isa 49, 13.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

In the last week, much will be clarified, but in the midst of the week "he shall abolish sacrifice and oblation; On the temple wing shall be the horrible abomination until the ruin that is decreed is poured out upon the horror." (Dan 9:27).

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Jer 23, 5. Eze 37, 25.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times (וּבְצֹוק הָעִתִּֽים tsowq `eth). Ezr 6, 14. Luk 7, 19.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Isa 53, 8. Mat 24, 2. Dan 11, 10.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Mat 24, 15. Mar 13, 14. Luk 21, 20.

For the elect's sake those days shall be shortened

21 For then shall be great tribulation (θλῖψις μεγάλη), such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

19 For [in] those days shall be affliction (θλῖψις), such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Great tribulation is for those who commit adultery with Jezebel

18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass; Rev 1, 14-15.
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first. 2Co 9, 12.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Exo 34, 15. 1Co 10, 19.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation (εἰς θλῖψιν μεγάλην), except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 1Sa 16, 7. Psa 7, 9. Jer 11, 20. Jer 17, 10.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have [already] hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: Dan 7, 22. Jhn 6, 29. 1Co 6, 3.
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. Psa 2, 9.
28 And I will give him the morning star. 2Pe 1, 19. Rev 22, 16.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

When you are in distress… you turn to the LORD

30 When thou art in tribulation (צַר tsar), and all these things are come upon thee, [even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; Lev 26, 40.
31 (For the LORD thy God [is] a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Psa 103, 8. Isa 11, 12.

9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs (חִיל chiyl) have taken thee as a woman in travail. Zec 9, 5.
10 Be in pain (חוּל chuwl), and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies. 2Ki 19, 3. Psa 48, 6. Isa 59, 20.
11 Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor. Isa 11, 12. Isa 55, 8.
13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth. Isa 41, 15.

9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; Rev 3, 5. Rev 6, 11.
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Jer 3, 23. Hos 13, 4. Rev 19, 1.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and [about] the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, [be] unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation (ἐκ τῆς θλίψεως τῆς μεγάλης), and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Isa 1, 18. Heb 9, 14.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. Isa 4, 2. Rev 21, 3.
