Bible. Our voluntary sacrifice
Christ is the way
Christ is the way by which we can come to our Father in heaven. Christ offered a sacrifice for all our sins. We need to follow His path and take part in His great sacrifice, in His sufferings. We need to carry our little cross, given to each of us by our Father. We need to take up our cross and follow Him.
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Ис 35, 8. Ин 1, 14, 17. Ин 6, 33, 40. Ин 8, 32. Ин 10, 28. Ин 11, 25. 1 Ин 5, 20. Еф 1, 13.
34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself (ἀπαρνησάσθω ἑαυτὸν), and take up his cross (ἀράτω τὸν σταυρὸν αὐτοῦ), and follow me. Мф 10, 38. Мф 16, 24. Лк 9, 23. Лк 14, 27.
35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh (παθόντος ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν σαρκὶ), arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh (ὁ παθὼν ἕν σαρκὶ) hath ceased from sin; 1 Пет 2, 21.
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings (παθήμασιν); that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 2 Кор 4, 10. Флп 3, 10.
Our free sacrifice
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (ἀκολουθείτω μοι). Мф 10, 38. Мк 8, 34. Лк 14, 27.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Мф 16, 17. Ин 3, 35. Ин 6, 46.
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Иер 6, 16.
30 For my yoke is easy (ὁ γὰρ ζυγός μου χρηστὸς), and my burden is light (τὸ φορτίον μου ἐλαφρόν ἐστιν). 1 Ин 5, 3.
21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Мф 6, 19.
22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! Иов 31, 24. Иак 2, 5. 1 Тим 6, 17.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (ἔχῃ ζωὴν αἰώνιον). Ис 9, 6. Мк 16, 16. Ин 6, 40. 1 Ин 4, 9-10.
14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Рим 14, 9. Гал 2, 20.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Ис 53, 9. Ин 8, 46. 1 Пет 2, 22. 1 Ин 3, 5.
Sacrifice everything for God
41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. Лк 21, 1.
42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
