1
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Ис 45, 12.
2
And on
the seventh day
God ended his work which he had made;
and he rested on
the seventh day
from all his work which he had made.
Исх 20, 11.
Исх 31, 17.
Евр 4, 4.
3
And
God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:
because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
1
And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,
2
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.
3
Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
Исх 23, 10.
4
But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
Втор 15, 1.
5
That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed:
for
it is a year of rest unto the land.
6
And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you;
for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,
7
And for thy cattle, and for the beast that
are
in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.
8
And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years;
and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
9
Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth
day
of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
Лев 23, 27.
10
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout
all
the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you;
and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
Втор 15, 1.
Ис 61, 2.
Лев 27, 24.
11
A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather
the grapes
in it of thy vine undressed.
12
For it
is
the jubile;
it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
13
In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.
Чис 36, 4.
14
And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest
ought
of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another:
Лев 19, 13.
1 Фес 4, 6.
15
According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour,
and
according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:
16
According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for
according
to the number
of the years
of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.
17
Ye shall not therefore oppress one another;
but thou shalt fear thy God: for I
am
the LORD your God.
Лев 19, 14.
18
Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
Лев 18, 30.
3 Цар 4, 25.
19
And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.
Пс 66, 7.
Ис 1, 19.
Иез 34, 27.
20
And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year?
behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
21
Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
Втор 28, 8.
22
And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat
yet
of old fruit until the ninth year;
until her fruits come in ye shall eat
of
the old
store.
1
At the end of
every
seven years thou shalt make a release.
Исх 21, 2.
Лев 25, 4.
Иер 34, 14.
2
And this
is
the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth
ought
unto his neighbour shall release
it;
he shall not exact
it
of his neighbour, or of his brother;
because it is called the LORD'S release.
3
Of a foreigner thou mayest exact
it again: but
that
which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
The commandment of forgiveness in the seventh year is included in the covenant of the people of God with the Almighty. Sometimes we, the people of God, freely choose to dishonor the name of the Most High. In this case, the Almighty declares to us: “I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine, …”, etc.
(Jer 34:17).
It's good not to forget this.
12
Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
13
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel;
I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,
Исх 21, 2.
Втор 15, 12.
14
At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee;
and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.
Иер 7, 24.
Иер 25, 4.
Иер 35, 15.
15
And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour;
and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
16
But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.
17
Therefore thus saith the LORD;
Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine;
and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
Втор 28, 64.
18
And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain, and passed between the parts thereof,
Быт 15, 10.
19
The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf;
20
I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.
Иер 7, 33.
21
And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you.
22
Behold, I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city;
and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.
The Bible uses the concept of a week to refer to a fully completed cycle.
10
The days of our years
are
threescore years and ten;
and if by reason of strength
they be
fourscore years, yet
is
their strength labour and sorrow;
for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Сир 18, 8.
