And do you know what I understood here?… That the Lord accepts any of our sacrifices. For Him, every movement of our heart towards Him, every act of love and giving, every deed, thought or word in which love is manifested is very, very precious. This is a gift for him… And it doesn’t matter if we give a lot or a little and how beautiful the packaging will be. Let it seem that just smiling at a person is a small thing, but in fact, this is EVERYTHING. And the Lord does not ask us to give as much as the saints give or those on whose example we rely and whom we would like (but cannot) imitate. He looks at the potential of each soul, at its capabilities and strengths. And His attitude towards each of us is so individual, unique, that any comparison is inappropriate here.
